Tell our readers briefly about yourself.

I am a multi-genre author that writes with a bit of a dark streak. I write adult urban crime stories told from the viewpoint of the criminal, dystopian sci-fi, and fantasy. I am getting into horror stories now. Look towards Stephen King as an inspirational style.


Can you tell us about your most recent release? Album? Song? Art piece? Etc.?

I just finished my Killer Series with the release of the fourth book, Killer With Ice Eyes. The series covers a gang leader and his mafia friend as they rise in the underworld over a 20-year period.


What inspires you?

I was born an author. I have stories and characters in my head all the time. I have stories I tell myself that I don't intend to write, it amuses me.

What is your creative work routine like? Do you balance it with another job?

I do have a full-time job as a DBA for the government. I usually write late at night to the early morning hours.

Do you plan out your creations? What is your creative process like?

I am a serious plotter. I write a synopsis, chapter outlines, and character histories before I start writing. I usually know how the story will end before I start. the joy is seeing how to get there

Do you have a self-care routine or want to have one? What do you do or wish that you did to take care of your mental health?

I don't really think about it. I am a pretty happy and fulfilled person.

What is your favorite creation thus far?

The Killer Series as it took me over ten years to write and I had it rolling around my head for about 30 years.

Do you have a character that is your favorite over others you've written into creation?

Bulletproof Morris MoJo Johnson. He is the gang leader in the Killer Series which is the driving force in the story.

Are there any recurring themes in your work?

In a word Revenge. There is also a political theme in most of my writing.

What does success look like to you considering your creative passion?

Finishing the book.

What has been one of the biggest lessons you've learned since starting this journey? Writing is one thing, editing is everything.


What advice would you share with new or aspiring authors/singers/artists/etc?

Don't put off getting started. Make the time to do what you love and you will be a happier person. You don't have to be a starving artist, there is a way to balance work with your work.

Where do you get your ideas for world-building?

The news, family discussions, just life in general. Especially in sci-fi.

What genre do you prefer to read?

Sci-fi and horror. Stephen King is my favorite author.

What hobbies do you have?

Fishing
