Into The Black, by Adam Gaffen

A collection of stories that takes the reader on a multitude of adventures, Adam Gaffen does not disappoint. Not having read any of the books in the Cassidy verse I was immediately captured by Kendra. She’s spunky and witty as well as fearless. She really pulled me into this collection and I couldn’t stop as more stories were introduced. I will say this has me looking forward to reading her series. I have not had my fill.

The scenery, the characters, and the way things flowed together had me seeing it all as a movie. Gaffen does an excellent job at making this world come to life. I highly recommend this book and I look forward to reading more in the future.
