Finding Faith is the first book I’ve read from this author, and I discovered it originally on Kindle Vella. The characters are quite addicting in this story, and it starts out with a great steamy scene right away.
In this first book we meet Kalili, a demon, working to corrupt a human in typical fashion. She uses her body to aid her in that task, but her plans are thrown out when an Angel comes after her to take her life.
Faith is an angel sent on a specific task but isn’t given much detail. She was not prepared for what happened when she met Kalili.
These two ladies were developed well, and I found myself drawn to them immediately. Faith was the innocent naïve one while Kalili had been around. They face many challenges together and discover that they have a place in the world together, but it goes against everything they’ve been told. Heaven and Hell both turn their back on them, and they are left with just each other.
The story pulls readers in and keeps them stuck to the page. It has an easy flow with excitement in every chapter. It’s fast paced and can be read in one sitting. The end does leave you on a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to find out what happens next.
